The Greybull Work Center is home to the Wyoming Hotshots. The crew has
been housed here since its inception in 1967. The barracks were remodel in
1996 and additional work was completed in 2005. The Compound includes
a barracks comprised of ten dormitory style rooms, a large kitchen, with two
stoves, four microwaves, and four refrigerators. It also contains a TV room with
projector screen, and men's and women's bathrooms. There is also a laundry
facility with two washers and two dryers. The weight room has a Olympic
style weights, assault air runner, stair climber, and many free weights.
The town of Greybull is in north central Wyoming. Its 50 miles east of Cody and
150 miles east of Yellowstone National Park. There are many recreational
actives in the Bighorn National Forest just 30 minutes outside of town. They
include, hunting, fishing, biking, hiking, and snow sports in the winter.
