| CREW HISTORY The program was initially developed in 1967, and functioned as one of the Rocky Mountain Region Interregional Suppression Crews. It remained an Interregional Crew until 1981, when the interregional concept was abolished nationwide and all category one crews were reclassified as "Interagency Hotshot Crews". The Wyoming Hotshots has a proud history, built on camaraderie, strong work ethic, and mutual respect. We continually strive for excellence and to uphold our long tradition and core values. |
